CPL+ IR + ME + CFI+ Degree Program + Job Package
IGIA also offers Professional Pilot programs combined with a Degree program in USA. Studying for a Degree program as an international student allows you to experience college life in the United States as well as giving the opportunity to work as a flight instructor in the United States after completing the program. Graduates of this program approved for OPT could obtain a Commercial Multi with Instrument, CFI, and up to 1200 hours of total time after three years (2 years studying, 1 year working). The two year Professional Pilot Program includes the following courses for students:
- Private License
- Instrument Rating
- Commercial Single Engine
- Commercial Multi Engine
- Certified Flight Instructor and Flight Instructor Instrument
Upon graduation, you are eligible for up to one year of work in the United States as flight instructors. This is called Optional Practical Training (OPT) under an F-1 visa. This allows you to build the flight hours and experience airlines are looking for! You can build up to 1200 hours of total time by instructing for up to a year, allowing graduates to return home ready to apply for the airlines.

6. PILOT TRAINING IN AUSTRALIA

The Pre-Requisites for the course in Australia are:
- A current Class 1 Australian Medical

- Successfully completed Year 12 (applicants will be required to provide a Senior Secondary Certificate of Education) or successfully completed a Vocational or Higher Education qualification of at least a Certificate IV which was taught in English
